Hotel Reservation Terms and Conditions
By visiting our resort, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
By booking this reservation, you confirm your agreement to these terms and conditions. Other terms and conditions may also apply depending upon your specific offer. If you do not agree to all of these terms and conditions, please contact Room Reservations at 855.788.6775.
Daily Resort Fee. A daily resort fee of $55.00 plus applicable tax will be added to all reservations. The daily resort fee entitles you to receive the following: in-room wireless internet access; unlimited local, toll-free, and domestic long distance telephone calls (to the 50 United States and DC); digital newspaper and magazine access, 24-hour fitness center access and tennis and pickleball court access. Daily resort fees will be waived (i.e., removed from the bill at check out) for eligible members with MGM Rewards Gold+ Tier Level status with eligible reservations. Additional Occupant Charge. There is an additional charge of $50 plus tax per occupant, per night, above two (2) occupants per room. Maximum occupancy is four (4) persons per room unless otherwise stated. An adult is defined as an individual 18 years of age and older.
* Taxes. Estimated taxes are based on current tax rates which are subject to change as required by applicable law. Taxes may include lodging tax, sales tax, entertainment tax, etc. Lodging taxes apply to the basic room rate, additional per occupant charges, upgrades, as well as any other charges as required by applicable law. In the event that lodging is part of a package offering that includes food & beverage, entertainment, or other taxable or nontaxable goods and services, the applicable taxes, if any, will be computed on each component of the package in accordance with applicable tax laws and will be shown on your final invoice at check-out. Additional taxes, if any, will be due upon check-out.
Room Status. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas reserves the right to check the status of all rooms/suites at any time.
Check-in/Checkout Time. Check-In time is 3:00PM and Check-Out time is 11:00AM, with the exception of The Chelsea Penthouses & Bungalows that have check-in beginning at 6:00PM on Saturdays and Sundays only.

Firearms Policy. Firearms are not permitted on the premises of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, including within our hotel rooms. If requested, safekeeping of properly registered firearms can be arranged.
Credit/Debit Card Charges. The credit or debit card used to reserve your reservation will be required upon arrival to register. If you are paying with a credit card, you must present the credit card at check-in unless a previously arranged third party credit card authorization is completed for the booking. If you are not the credit card holder, please contact Room Reservations for details on our credit card policy. We will place an authorization against this account to cover applicable charges for room, taxes and resort fees, as well as a $150 incidental amount per day to allow you access to room charging privileges and may result in additional authorizations should your charges exceed the originally approved amount. An incidental deposit of $1,000 per night will be authorized on a valid credit card upon check-in if a Bungalow or Chelsea Penthouse is reserved. Cardholder funds released after checkout may take up to 7 business days to become available for guests with domestic banks and up to 30 days for guests with international banks. If you use a debit card, you acknowledge that unused funds may be subject to an additional delay before they are returned. Availability of funds after check-out are managed solely by each individual financial institution. You authorize us to place a hold against your credit or debit card to guarantee any and all charges and, in the event that you do not settle your account subsequent to your departure, you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card or apply funds you have on deposit with us against what you owe.
Responsibility for Charges and Damages. You agree that regardless of billing or master account arrangements, you are liable for any and all charges posted to your room(s). You are further liable for all damages to the room(s) caused by you or your guests/invitees during your stay. You agree that any guests in your room are authorized by you to charge to the room from anywhere in the resort or at any MGM Resorts International ("MGM") property, unless you advise the Front Desk otherwise.
Smoking Charges. Smoking any substance, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes, hookah, vaping, marijuana and any other substance, inside a guest room is strictly prohibited. Guests are permitted to smoke lawful substances outside on their terrace, provided they (i) use the ashtray located on the terrace and (ii) close the guest room door (so smoke does not enter the guest room). It is not lawful to smoke, consume, possess or distribute marijuana products (whether recreationally or for medicinal purposes) or any other illegal substance anywhere at the resort, including in guest rooms or on terraces. Any paraphernalia commonly associated with marijuana or any other illegal substance is also strictly prohibited anywhere at the resort, including in guest rooms or on terraces. Any such substances and products are subject to immediate confiscation. Any violation of this policy will result in a smoking fee of $500.00 (plus applicable taxes), additional cleaning fees of $500.00 (minimum) and any additional fees and costs that may be incurred to deep clean and/or repair a guest room. Violation of this policy may result in eviction and/or trespass from the resort.
Refund of Deposit. The first night's deposit is fully refundable provided a timely notice of cancellation is received by Room Reservations at 877.551.7772 at least 72 hours prior to the arrival date, unless specifically excluded by booked offer. Cancellations less than 72 hours before your scheduled arrival (and no shows) will result in a forfeiture of the first night's deposit. If you have a complimentary stay (or at least the first night is complimentary) and do not cancel at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival (or do not show up), then you will be charged a $165 mid-week or $200 weekend (i.e., Friday or Saturday night) cancellation fee (as determined by the first night of your scheduled stay), plus applicable taxes.
Revised Check Out Date. You have the option to change your check out date at any time prior to check-in or at check-in without being charged an early departure assessment. However, if, after checking-in, you decide to check out prior to your confirmed departure date, then you will be charged an early departure assessment in the amount equal to the applicable rate and taxes you were quoted for the night you are departing (and, if specifically included by booked offer, all other remaining nights of your stay).
Should your plans require you to extend your departure date, please check with the Front Desk on room availability, but note that your rate is subject to change.
Room Requests. Every effort will be made to accommodate your requests for specific room type and location however, we are unable to guarantee any requests as rooms are not assigned until check in. Additional fees plus applicable taxes may apply depending on the specific requests.
Age Requirement (21+). Guests must be at least 21 years of age in order to check into the hotel. All guests must be at least 21 years old to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages. Reminder: Per Nevada law, you must be 21 years or older to gamble. Please advise your underage guests of this law.
Miscellaneous. The extent of any complimentaries received is based upon qualified casino play that is reviewed during and after your stay. Please notify the Front Desk immediately if there are any errors to name, rate or length of stay. Room rates, resort fees, additional occupant charges, cancellation fees, and cleaning fees are based on rates and fees applicable at time of booking your reservation, not at time of check-in (unless date of booking/check-in are the same or as otherwise provided herein). Applicable taxes are computed at the rate required by law at the time of the applicable transaction.
Telephone Calls. Telephone calls made from hotel phones (including in guest rooms, lobbies, hallways or elevators) to hotel operators or other hotel staff (such as front desk, concierge, room service, etc.) may be monitored and recorded by hotel management for purposes of quality assurance, training, security or mutual protection.
Marketing. By providing your e-mail address, street address, and/or other contact information, you consent to receiving marketing and promotional e-mails, direct mail, and other communications (electronic or otherwise) from MGM and its related and/or affiliated properties, and you consent to our sharing such information with MGM and its related and/or affiliated properties, and with our business partners and other third parties. Automated Text Messages. If you provide your mobile phone number with your room reservation or otherwise (e.g., by scanning a QR code and/or initiating text message(s)), you consent to receive an automated text messages (which may use chatbot technology) that may be sent prior to your scheduled arrival date, during your stay, and/or after your stay to that number to facilitate your check-in/stay, to respond to your guest service-related requests, and/or otherwise related to your stay. Safes. In-room fireproof safes are provided for guests to deposit their valuables as well as safety deposit boxes at the Main Cage. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will not be responsible for valuables not deposited in such safe or at the Main Cage.
Use of Accommodations. Hotel rooms and suites are intended solely for the purpose of overnight lodging and accommodation and may not be utilized for exhibition and/or sale of goods, products, wares or services, and/or for any other commercial activity other than networking, without first receiving the separate written consent of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Without limiting the forgoing, should you utilize your room(s) and/or suite(s) for any commercial activity, you hereby agree to indemnify, defend and hold The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas's parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates, free, clear and harmless from, and against, any and all claims and liabilities in connection with such activities.
In-Room Refreshment Centers. Fully-stocked refreshment centers are provided in each guest room, not intended for storage of personal items. Stocked items plus applicable taxes are billed to the guest's account as soon as they are removed from the refreshment center.
